Positions Currently Available

Underground Utilities Installer or Working Foreman

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, Saturdays are optional, 7AM – 4PM+, Average of 40 – 50 hours per week

Average Weekly Pay:  $900+ per week (Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay)

Minimum Skill Requirement: Minimum of 3 years experience as Heavy Equipment Operator and installing water, sewer, and other wastewater utilities and piping systems.

Skill Preferences: Class A CDL, Foreman level, and/or septic experience a plus

Job Description: Installers will be responsible for the installation of private sewer, water, storm and septic systems within roughly a 50 mile radius of Orlando as part of 2 to 4 man crews overseen by the Construction Manager. Projects will include the installation of grease traps, sewer connection, sewer lift stations, manholes, septic, storm water and plumbing systems. Installers may be responsible for the safe operation of various pieces of heavy equipment including trackhoe, backhoe, excavator, skid-steer, and heavy trucks.

Plumber

Typical Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available Monday – Sunday, 7AM – 4PM+, Average of 40 – 50 hours per week, on-call required 1 week out of every month

Average Weekly Pay:  $800 – $1,000+ per week (Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay)

Minimum Skill Requirement: Minimum of 5 years experience as a full service plumber.

Skill Preferences: Electrical, estimating, sales, septic, sewer, and/or lift station experience a plus

Job Description: Plumbers will be responsible for managing their own sales, jobs, equipment, tools and customers in the most professional manner to represent Lapin Services in unison with the Service Manager. Projects will include commercial and residential customers specifically jetting and snaking clogs in lines, conducting video pipe inspections, repiping, repair/replacement of water heaters, point repairs, leak detection, pump and alarm replacements, septic repairs, riser and lid installs, etc.

Septic Installer

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, Saturdays are optional, 7AM – 4PM+, Average of 40 – 50 hours per week

Average Weekly Pay: $900+ per week (Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay)

Minimum Skill Requirement: Minimum of 3 years experience as Heavy Equipment Operator and installing septic systems, including drainfields and tanks.

Skill Preferences: Class A CDL a plus

Job Description: Installers will be responsible for the installation of both residential and commercial septic systems within roughly a 50 mile radius of Orlando as part of a 2 man crew overseen by the Construction Manager. Projects will include the installation of septic tanks, drainfields (including multi-pipe and chambers), and aerobic treatment units (ATU’s). Installers may be responsible for the safe operation of various pieces of heavy equipment including trencher, min-excavator, skid-steer, and heavy trucks.

Pump-Truck / Vactor Operator

Typical Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available Monday – Sunday, 7AM – 4PM+, Average of 40 – 50 hours per week, on-call required 1 week out of every month

Average Weekly Pay: $800 – $1,000+ per week (Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay)

Minimum Skill Requirement: Minimum of 3 years experience Class B CDL driver, vacuum truck or jet/vac operation and septic/sewer cleaning

Skill Preferences: Experience with sales, troubleshooting and installation of septic systems a plus

Job Description: Vacuum truck operators will be responsible for the safe and professional cleaning of residential and commercial customer systems including septic tanks, grease traps, sewer lift stations, etc. as directed by the Service Manager. Excellent customer service and representation of Lapin Services as a professional service company is important in addition to troubleshooting and investigation of customer systems for advising and estimating any services and repairs that may be needed. Utmost integrity and honesty are critical to the role.

Lift Station Technician

Typical Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available Monday – Sunday, 7AM – 4PM+, Average of 40 – 50 hours per week, on-call required 1 week out of every month

Average Weekly Pay: $800 – $1,000+ per week (Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay)

Minimum Skill Requirement: Minimum of 5 years experience repairing sewer lift stations both plumbing and electrical portions

Skill Preferences: Experience with sales and troubleshooting septic and plumbing systems and/or CDL a plus

Job Description: Responsible for safe troubleshooting, installation and repair of electrical control panels, pumps, alarm floats, force mains, valves, piping, etc. associated with sewer lift stations and accompanying sewer collection systems working in unison with the Service Manager. Confined Space Entry Certification will be trained for and required.

Fleet Mechanic

Typical Schedule: Flexible Scheduling Available Monday – Sunday, 7AM – 4PM+, Average of 40 – 50 hours per week, on-call required 1 week out of 3 weeks

Average Weekly Pay: $800 per week (Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday and vacation pay)

Minimum Skill Requirement: Minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent training/education in heavy diesel mechanics and gas engines – must own your own tools

Skill Preferences: Heavy equipment, welding/fabricating, and/or vacuum truck mechanics experience a plus

Job Description: Responsible for working with a  team of in-house mechanics to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs to our fleet of roughly 100 pieces of heavy trucks, light vehicles, heavy equipment, and other powered equipment in compliance with safe operations and in compliance with FDOT Regulations. Operations include an outside shop, yard operations, and off-site response. Responsible for breaking down tires, ordering parts from vendors, electrical repairs, diagnostics, reviewing maintenance logs, etc.
