My church decided to use Lapin Services when we found out our grease trap for the kitchen was overflowing and had not been pumped in a very long time. I have been there 13 years and can’t remember a time it was ever pumped out.  It is needless to say that the grease trap pumping was an overlooked priority.  We got exceptional service and our Pastor was very satisfied with the work. It’s amazing how quickly over time a grease trap can build up. In our case for our church it was just a matter of time. The kitchen was used less frequently with our previous pastor, but when our new Pastor arrived we have had a lot more growth especially recently. Though I have mentioned to the Pastor it needs to be done more frequently. Still waiting on that answer. It’s important to have your grease trap pumping  on a regular basis. If it’s not done then it causes a backup in the trap and it can be very messy to cleanup. It is an additional cost that many businesses do not want to incur. In some cases businesses can be fined for not having regular pump outs for their grease trap by the city or county, which is also an additional cost on top of cleaning up the mess caused by the backup. In some cases a grease trap pumping alone is not enough. Sometimes the grease traps have to be replaced because they have aged and been used beyond their capability over time.
