Past Community Charity Event 2015
“No Shave November” is a way to show solidarity and support for prostate cancer and testicular cancer awareness. So, we decided to partner up with the Beerd Run this year for their annual charity Bearded 5k run/walk event in Baldwin Park on November 22nd. We ask that you all come out and show support for a great cause while having fun. First, let’s go over some of the details.
What is The Beerd Run?
On November 22 in Baldwin Park, Orlando, the Beerd Run will host a Beard Themed 5k run/walk charity event. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and proceeds from each registered guest will be donated to the Testicular Cancer Society. Each registered participant will receive entry into the race, a beer ticket, timing chip, race medal, finisher t-shirt and an entry into the Best Beard Competition. The Beerd Run also offers you that warm and fuzzy feeling we get when we do some good for our society. Who doesn’t like that? So come out and lets stand together, or run for that matter.
No Beard? No Worries!
So yes, this is a bearded themed event and there will be a Best Beard Competition. However, you don’t have to have a beard in order to participate. Our friends at Beerd Run will be providing faux beards so that your baby faces don’t feel left out. So there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to help show support come November 22nd.
Where To Sign Up
Signing up is easy. Just go to www.BeerdRun.com and click the registration tab. There will be three packages to choose from. Select the package you would like to receive and follow the checkout procedure. It’s super easy and it’s for a great cause. They also have all the info you need regarding questions you may have so be sure to check them out.
We hope to see you all out there at the Beerd Run in support of Testicular Cancer Awareness and also to help support survivors, fighters and caregivers alike. After the run, make sure you stop by our booth and say hello!
